About Ali Jalayer
Ali Jalayer, the eldest statesmen on the United staff, is no stranger to elite level athletics. From 1963-1968, he helped his brother reach the pinnacle of the International Weight Lifting scene, as he became the Asia Olympic Champion, World Record Holder, and three time Olympic medalist.
The senior Jalayer has coached at both the high school and club levels back in the Washington DC area. He has helped many players attain their goals of playing NCAA Division I soccer at such schools as George Mason University, George Washington University, and Boston College to name a few. He was also very instrumental in paving the way for his son’s playing and coaching career.
Ali is a graduate of Oklahoma University and received his Masters from George Washington University.
