About Jimmy Odhiambo
Jimmy Odhiambo, a native of Nairobi Kenya, is one of the most experienced coaches on the BYSC staff. Jimmy played for the top two teams in the Kenyan Premier League which culminated in a call up to the Kenyan National Team in 1996, and the vigorous process of World Cup qualification coming out of the African Continent.
In 1997 Jimmy made a move to India to help elevate the professional standard there and played for the top club, Mohan Bagan Athletic Club. In 1998 he made his move to the states where he signed and played for the famed Richmond Kickers. After a few seasons he moved to the West Coast where he teamed up with BYSC DOC, Shayon Jalayer playing together with the LA Fireballs of the USL Pro League. It was in these years that Jimmy began coaching players of all levels and ages.
Known for his intensity on the field he is also recognized as one of the most enjoyable and passionate players and coaches on the BYSC staff.
