Lynsey Jalayer had a distinguished college soccer career at California Baptist University where she was part of the first team in school history to qualify for the NAIA National Tournament. She was team co-captain in her junior and senior years, at the same time earning All-Conference recognition in the Golden State Athletic Conference.
The 1997 graduate of Temescal Canyon High School was the Sunkist League MVP as a senior and was honored all four years on the All-League team. She later joined the Temescal coaching staff as an assistant for two playoff runs from 2001-2003.
At CBU, she earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a Master of Science degree in Sport Management. In her first five seasons as a college head coach, the RCC women’s team set a school record for wins, earned a playoff berth in more than a decade. In 2008, Lynsey Jalayer was named Orange Empire Conference Coach of the Year.
She has been with BYSC since 2009 and has consistently led her teams to successful campaigns gaining promotion to Gold and Premier levels respectively. She has also led teams to the quarter-finals of League Cup, Presidents Cup and National Cup.
BYSC Corona United is the City of Corona's #1 Soccer Club. BYSC Corona United is dedicated to both the recreational and competitive player, having specific programs for both types. Both programs are dedicated to the development of the American soccer player and is in line with the US Soccer Federation’s standards and mandates based on age and level of play.
