About Naser Pourmehdi
Naser Pourmehdi joined BYSC in March of 2013. A former professional player, Pourmehdi has been coaching at the professional level for over 25 years. He carries major coaching certifications, including AFC’s (Asian Football Confederation) “A” License. He also carries FIFA Advanced Coaching Badges of various levels, culminating in his FIFA Pro Coaching License. In the area of youth coaching he also carries Iran Football Federation’s Youth License with an emphasis in exercise physiology. Pourmehdi has also instructed courses in Youth and Grassroots Modules, C-level licensing for the AFC, and has been an Assistant Instructor at the AFC “A”, “B” and Pro Courses.
The pinnacle of Pourmehdi’s professional coaching career came from 2001-2005 when he coached in Iran’s top flight, coaching Asian giants Sepahan Football Club, who in 2004 reached the AFC’s Champions League.
